Behind the Boardgame
AI, robotics, and new technologies surge forward, reshaping everyday life as the mining industry remains the essential backbone of civilization, supplying the metals and minerals that make progress possible. Between 2014 and 2024, unprecedented technological breakthroughs fueled a global Mining Fever, turning the extraction of critical materials into a race for supremacy rather than mere profit.
Corporations and nations compete to secure these resources, creating a high-stakes contest for power and control over the future of technology. Every territory claimed, mine developed, and investment made shifts the balance, shaping a volatile, demand-driven landscape where strategy, risk, and foresight lead to Total Control.
Gameplay Overview
ARDEVUR: The Game of Resources is a medium-heavy economic simulation with a modern mining theme for 2–4 players. Designed as an asymmetric Euro-style strategy game, it focuses on resource management, supply chain development, and corporate competition. Players take control of one of four major mining corporations and navigate a volatile, demand-driven market where every decision matters.
The game balances short-term gains and long-term investments, with little reliance on luck. Strategic planning, careful timing, and competitive foresight are key to achieving Total Control.

Game Modes
- Standard: Full ruleset.
- Fair Play: No Action Cards; simpler experience for casual players.
- Clash of Titans (Beta) :Increased Action Card hand limit; automatic card draws on extraction.
- Custom: Optional rules can be added or removed for tailored gameplay.
- Full Experience: Recommended mode using all optional rules.
