This game is published and developed by the creative minds at Hashtag 64. More than just a Board Game publisher, Hashtag 64 is a Research & Development Lab and incubator for digital content, games, books, and innovative technologies.

At Hashtag 64, we bring a fresh creative vision based on philosophical and mathematical concepts that have not been presented in game format before. Our aim is not only to entertain you through our immersive and realistic mining simulation, but also give you a thing or two to think about in the process.

Through our affiliate company ARDEVUR Commodities, we have accumulated decades of experience in the mining industry, building and sustaining countless mining operations across the world. Our experience gives us the needed tools, resources, and expertise to produce a mining strategy game that accurately replicates the dynamics of the mining industry.

We are very proud to present ARDEVUR: The Game of Resources as our first-ever board game. This has been an ambitious project that we have worked on tirelessly and we are very excited to release it to the world!

Backstory

Using the Earth’s natural deposits for zinc, cobalt, lithium, and other precious materials, humanity has built and developed cutting-edge technology, much needed for the progress of civilization.

As made possible by the mining supply chain, global conglomerates and tech companies have achieved significant advances in robotics, cybernetics, and artificial intelligence – critical innovations for the sustainability of humanity’s innovation, but dangerous weapons if utilized for the wrong purposes.

However, the world is growing ever-the-more restless, with new conflicts threatening to erupt, old disputes beginning to reignite, and wars becoming more destructive than ever.

In this shifting global context, global powers jockey for dominance, influence, and more importantly greater access to the resources that make their weapons and technologies possible.

This global context is a prime opportunity for companies around the world. Several players, new and old, have introduced themselves to the mining industry with a chance to cash in on the increased demand for metals and minerals, and gain more influence on the global stage.

But… the human nature driving mankind’s quest for progress also triggers their greed and ambition, as the companies and conglomerates racing to claim their stake of earth’s resources each possess their own individual goals and agendas.

Some of these companies use the metals and minerals they extract to build better, more durable and more reliable machines, other companies sell the resources to fuel the ever-growing defense industry, while others seek even more sinister purposes.

Will the technological developments brought by the mining fever of the metal age bring good to humanity, or will it take a downturn for the worse?

Step into the world of high-stakes mining, where strategic decisions shape the future of your corporation. In ARDEVUR, you are the CEO of a powerful mining enterprise, expanding operations, managing resources, and outmaneuvering rivals to dominate the industry.

Every turn, you’ll:

Upgraded Cards – All decks will be enhanced with higher-quality materials for improved durability and a premium feel. Additionally, the cards will feature upgraded visual and physical effects for a more premium experience.
Retail Metal Resource Tokens – The standard cardboard resource tokens in the retail edition will be upgraded to high-quality metal tokens for a more immersive experience.
Deluxe Metal Resource Tokens – The deluxe edition will feature premium metal resource tokens, crafted to closely resemble the actual materials they represent.
Deluxe Edition Upgrade – All cardboard tokens in the deluxe edition will be replaced with detailed 3D metal miniatures featuring modern and stylish icon designs.
Industry Events Mini-Expansion – A new gameplay feature introducing event cards that alter game conditions at the start of each round, influencing resource prices, mining operations, objectives, and more.
Upgraded Player Dashboards – Redesigned dashboards with character-themed aesthetics and improved usability for better gameplay immersion.
NEW EXPANSION: The Guerilla Attack – This expansion introduces new mechanics alongside 16 objective cards, 32 executive order cards, and 8 development cards, further enriching the strategic depth of the game.

The game ends when a mining leader reaches key milestones, triggering a final race for dominance. The winner is the player with the most successful mining empire, built through strategic expansion, resource management, and financial power.
