7 Wonders Duel is a two-player adaptation of 7 Wonders. Designed by Antoine Bauza and Bruno Cathala with art from Miguel Coimbra.
A game consists of three stages, each with a unique deck of cards, laid out in a over-lapping pyramid shape. On a player’s round, they must select one of the available cards and perform one of three actions. They may construct it by paying its cost in resources, activating the card and giving the player its effects.
In many ways 7 Wonders Duel board game resembles its parent game 7 Wonders. Over three ages, players acquire cards that provide resources or advance their military or scientific development. In order to develop a civilization and complete wonders. What’s different about this game is that, as the title suggests, the game is solely for two players.
Players draft cards to build structures, develop science, and wage war, aiming to establish the greatest ancient civilisation. You can win 7 Wonders Duel in one of three ways. Including: each time you acquire a military card, you advance the military marker toward your opponent’s capital (also giving you a bonus at certain positions).
